1965 Shelby Cobra Replica Project
This is a fantastic 1965 Shelby Cobra frame and body by Factory-Five. These are new and a few rebuilt parts for the construction of this classic muscle car. New Factory Five body with amazing gel coat sits atop powder-coated round tube frame. New cut aluminum sheet metal, cases in the interior floor, firewalls, transmission tunnel, trunk area, etc. Partially installed suspension and new steering rack are mounted to the frame.Doors have beautiful chrome catches and latches.

Drive train starts with a freshly cleaned Ford 302 engine block prepped for assembly. Add on rebuilt stock steel Ford GT heads with new seals, guides, seats, and valves. Cap with Aluminum Ford GT Cobra Valve Covers. Aluminum Ford GT Intake manifold capped with new dual four barrel Holly carburetors and Aluminum Ford Air Cleaner HousingFresh cut cylinders, lifter bore, cut and polished crank shaft. Ford small block aluminum W intake manifold complete with Dual quad Holly double pumpers and desirable Shelby Cobra air cleaner housing. Aluminum Shelby timing cover. Polished 3.25 stroke Crankshaft Aluminum Bell housing KC Mufflers and Manufacturing 4� 4 into 1 sidemount exhaust. Rebuilt Borg Warner / Tremec T-5 5-Speed aluminum housed transmission. Complete M-Pact clutch kit Ford 8.8� Rebuilt Posi Traction rear end with variable gear sets available. APC Race seats and Steering wheel.
This car was purchased in an auction as a garage find that sat since the original builder passed away. He basically purchased all the best parts and was about to assemble and then it sat until I got to it. I will do what I can to assist and answer questions but I don't know a lot of its history due to circumstances.
