History:

• Custom order truck bought new at Dick Lewis Ford Sales, Inc. in Vacaville, CA on June 22, 1987. The original owner drove the truck approximately 101,500 miles.

• The truck was sold in June 2003 to a family friend and car enthusiast for $3,000. The purchaser was looking to move from California to the Bitterroot Valley in Montana to be closer to family. He planned to ‘build’ the truck for Montana.

The new owner brought the truck to an auto restoration company – Mike Larbre Automotive – in Sonoma, CA to begin the build. Mike Larbre oversaw the build, doing most in-house and outsourcing other items.

Restoration work receipts provided included:

• The truck was run minimally and mainly garaged in Montana until the owner’s passing in 2012. The truck was then willed to his daughter and son-in-law in Hamilton, MT who listed it for sale beginning in 2022.

• Truck was purchased in May 2023 by the current owner with 109,500 miles. It was soon known there were numerous lurking issues as a result of years of sitting. Current owner began a thorough front to back restoration.
