1985 Chevy Chevette. Automatic, AC, PS, Z13 Sport Decor Package, 42k original miles. Nearly rust free Kansas car. I bought this Chevette just last year with high hopes of taking it up to the next level. But I haven't had the time to work on it and unfortunately, my back is failing me. I just can't work on cars like I could in my younger years.
It runs and drives fairly well. But could use still use some tuning up and maybe a carb rebuild. I think it needs to be driven, it has been driven VERY little in the past 15 years or so (see the pictures of the oil change stickers on the windshield). I've driven it about 20 miles myself, and I filled it up with fresh non-ethanol gas, but it still has a bunch of gas in it from LONG ago. I have additional pictures and videos available, just ask. I will try to include the link to the videos, or ask for them and I can send.
Body is amazing...not perfect, but for an almost 40 year old Chevette, I'd say amazing is appropriate. A couple scratches and dings and some paint chips here and there, but overall very very good.
Underneath is more solid than I have ever seen a Chevette. Benefitting from spending almost its entire life in Kansas, and not driven much. It was clearly undercoated early on, likely from factory or dealership and most undercoating is still intact. ZERO floor repair in needed and that is a rarity for a Chevette.
Interior needs a good cleaning and detailing, but is in great shape, even the headliner is good (another rarity for a Chevette).
Things I know that need to be improved: Gas gauge doesn't seem to read correctly, it is reading as beyond full. Check engine light is now on after I tried to use an engine degreaser on under the hood. I tried to avoid critical stuff, but I must have sprayed it on something I shouldn't have. The transmission pan gasket is dripping (this is shown in one of the videos I have). I repainted the passenger side fender and it isn't a great match. It started out as a small dent in the fender, which I decided to try to fix. After three attempts at getting matching paint, it still isn't right and it ended up being the whole fender being painted. I have a "before" picture of the fender with the dent. Something dripped on the roof at one point and discolored the paint, should be visible in the photos. AC doesn't blow cold (no surprise there), but all components are there.
Again, videos are available. And any SERIOUS buyer is welcome to come to Hudson, WI and see/drive the vehicle for themself. I welcome any serious buyer to come check it out in person.
Located in Hudson, WI. Buy It Now price is $7,490 and you may wonder how I came up with that price. Well, very recently a 1985 Chevette with automatic and very low miles sold on Hagerty auction for $14,980, and I figure mine is worth half of that considering mine is better equipped and frankly, better looking.

Immediate deposit required. Don't bother sending an offer if you aren't going to follow through. Last car listing I did, Richard Shultz of Granby, CT did just that, then backed out...DON'T BE A RICHARD. Clear WI title in my name.
