1969 AMC Hurst SC/Rambler with the "A" Paint scheme... This is a nice daily/weekend driver condition, Not a "Perfect" Show car...and I feel I have priced it fair and accordingly. LOADS of potential. I have enjoyed this car for the last 6 years and always ran good for me. I take it to local cruise ins and car shows , always draws a crowd.  I know it is not perfect so please DO NOT point out deficiencies. I am not selling it as a show ready car, hence the price.
THE BAD - This car was restored about 25-30 yrs ago and is showing some signs of needed body repair/paint some rust showing through on both sides in front of the rear tires, a gouge in the paint at the top of the passenger door, the lacquer paint is showing cracks / Chips in paint (mainly from Hurricane Ida, a garage window broke and glass smashed on hood/right fender)  on the hood and a crack in the blue decal on the trunk .Both doors need adjusting, you have to slam them to shut, I don't think the hinges are shot, because I don't feel any play up and down when I try to move them. The headliner was cover over the original ribbed material. I tried to show pictures of these imperfections. Needs exhaust manifold gaskets, which I have and will include. The antenna delete plug is rusted.
THE GOOD - Extremely solid body, rust free. From what I was told, this car used to race at New England Drag way back in the early seventies, it was a multiple class winner back in the day. Everything works, lights, turn signals, horn. This is a rare car, as you know, and finding one in this condition for this price is rare indeed.  As far as the seats go, this is a mystery, I had an AMC enthusiast tell me the seats were covered by an upholstery shop in Virginia, 2 SC Ramblers were done, this one and another. This SC/Rambler WAS on the 1512 Registry (#399) but the website is dead.. I HAVE A CLEAN and CLEAR LOUISIANA TITLE, in my name, and in my possession. For shipping or viewing purposes, vehicle is located in Gonzales, Louisiana, 20 miles southeast from Baton Rouge and about 50 miles northwest from New Orleans and car is about 1 mile off Interstate 10.
