This 2016 Volkswagen Golf R 4MOTION is a capable hot-hatchback that has been taken to the next level with several high-octane modifications. Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, all of which is sent through a six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received an APR Stage 3 Full Frame upgraded turbocharger kit, as well as several supporting upgrades that include a Stage 2 fuel pump, an aftermarket high-flow fuel rail, an APR catless downpipe, an aftermarket catch can, and custom tuning on 93 octane, among many other modifications. This aggressive build comes equipped with 18" Konig Flow-Formed wheels and is finished in Deep Black Pearl, a subtle hue that belies this car's true capabilities. The exterior of this Volkswagen has been made even more unique with the addition of some cosmetic modifications, which include a vented carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber mirror caps, aftermarket side skirts, and a rear spoiler extension. In the interior, this Golf R offers heated leather "R" bucket seats, billet paddle shifter extensions, a vent-mounted P3 V3 OBDII multi-function gauge, a flat-bottomed leather "R" steering wheel, multi-zone A/C, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, apps, phone connectivity, CD, AM/FM radio, AUX, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
