This car was a barn find, and the condition was so straight and rust free, I couldn’t resist it. Then, of course, I had to see how it ran… a new battery and a little gas and she fired right up! After cleaning out the fuel tank, adding a new fuel pump, and new lines she seems to be much reliable. This Spitfire is such a cute little sporty car, it gets lots of attention. It really needs someone to love and appreciate it. There are still a few items to tend to. The passenger door won’t open, though all the parts are there, the weatherstripping is old and cracking. It’s not perfect, but it will make a nice little project for the right person…
Exterior
Original body panels, rust free! Has had a re spray at one point. No dents or damage, except under taipan.
Interior
Interior is intact but shows wear. There are a few stains on the seat covers, carpets are all nice.
Engine
Tires are new, exhaust is new, battery and fuel pump. Comes with an original day cover, in good shape. Also 2 sets of hub caps.
