About this vehicle
I have a 77 f100 on an entire 2008 crown-vic Police Interceptor drivetrain. It's a gutted f100 sat on and welded to a 2008 crownvic. The only thing f100 is how it looks (body) and is titled. Cold ac and hot heat. 4.6 Auto with 140k. Runs and drives great. I did not do the body swap welds so I can't speak to them, but I've driven it for 30-40k with no issues. This is a rat-rod truck through and through. There's rust (on the f100 body) and holes throughout. Some of the larger rust holes were filled with body filler. The windshield needs to be replaced due to cracked glass and a slight leak when it pours. If you shoot me a message, I can get pictures of anything you'd like to investigate into. Exterior: Truck was red (ish) but was sanded, primered, painted black, and sanded again for a patina look. Front spoiler (slight bend) , halo headlights, *New* $700 cerbinator spoiler(my favorite add-on), *New* $700 Munssey Speed heat extractors, 73-75 painted grille, rear roll pan, powder coated red calipers, 2020 gt500 Reps (sprayed black), 255/35/20 (rear tires), 235/35/20 (front tires) that are honestly super thin walled for clearance resolution but they ride ok.Turn radius with these tires are pretty good but have to take wider turns due to hitting the fender if you try to fully lock them. Bed has welded cross bars for firmness support and water proof layered wood bed (factory floor was cutout to accept rear vic drivetrain. Interior: Rebuilt color changed (red) speedometer cluster. Has a CEL for Egr stuff im assuming to from the exhaust (foes not affect drivability). Crownvic cloth bucket seats, rampage center console, radio needs replaced. Drivers seat is the only seat belt but I have a match for the passenger. Police vinyl(?) Floor not carpet. Has a decent amount of rust throughout. Engine: 2008 4.6 AT Crown Vic PI. Has rust and rustholes throughout. Windshield leaks under heavy rain. Has mufflers but is very loud and sounds decent to me. Runs great. Only reason I'm selling is to fund my next project. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. You could leave as is or if you're mechanically inclined there's a lot of little stuff that can be done to make it yours. I really loved this truck and got looks (for better or worse) everywhere I went.Vehicle Details
