EXTERIOR: This is a great looking car! I love the body lines, colors, and stripes. It's decked out with the power bulge hood with racing pins, rear spoiler, chin spoilers and racing mirrors. The body is clean: straight, fits right, no rust or damage. Beautiful high impact Top Banana Yellow is smooth and glossy, no vinyl top. I love the stripes, especially the strobe strips on the sides. The bumpers are shiny, they left off the ugly bumper guards. All the trim looks great, correct antenna and racing gas cap. The 15 inch Rallye wheels and BFG tires look new.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car and it's very impressive everywhere I look. In front of me is a real nice dash pad, it has Rallye gauges, the clock is even working. There's a pioneer CD stereo and an aftermarket tachometer. Down on the floor the carpet is really nice, new Challenger floor mats. The center console is in excellent shape and the best part is the pistol grip shifter sticking out of it. The seats have been reupholstered front and back. The side panels are in excellent shape. The headliner looks new.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Open the hood and you'll see a beautiful engine compartment. At the heart of it is the VIN # matching, date code correct 340 high performance motor. This one's been juiced up a bit more when it was rebuilt with a hotter cam, Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb, electronic ignition, and a set of headers. It is dressed up with the stock air cleaner and valve covers. It features power steering and power brakes. The components look new. The radiator looks clean: has a shroud, new clutch fan and an overflow bottle. The battery is bolted down and has a shut off switch. The engine bay is all clean metal painted gloss yellow, it has hood insulation. The VIN number on the core support and the cowl match the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is real nice looking and it's complete. The yellow paint is glossy under the trunk lid and the jamb. Inside is a gray spatter finish on solid metal. It has a BFG tire and a painted rim for a spare, the jack assembly is properly installed.
UNDERSIDE: The front end components look real clean. In back the shocks, bushings, springs also look clean. The gas tank has been replaced. The dual exhaust looks recent, it has a crossover pipe and correct square tips. It has disc brakes in front, the e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean, the starter looks fresh. It has it's VIN number matching 4-speed trans and an 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 Sure Grip gears. The floors, frame rails and rockers are all very solid.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired right front turn signal and courtesy light, lubed the control arms, adjusted the reverse rod, lubed, and adjusted the remote mirror cables.
This is one heck of a car and priced very reasonably. The looks and sound are exciting. The condition is impressive. The #s matching motor and 4-speed make it a smart investment!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
