Very solid 12 valve Ram with very little rust and well kept. Mostly used to bumper pull a horse trailer, 306K miles, lots of highway time. Original owner until 265K miles. Clutch replaced around 180K miles, working great now.

     Truck is mostly stock with only a brake controller and an (non working) exhaust brake noted. It still has its full factory exhaust installed. I also installed newer model manual folding mirrors. Insulated matching snug top canopy has never been off bed since new, with slider and pop open side doors. Locks work.

      Drives like a dream, nice and smooth, goes straight down the highway, no rattles or funny noises that I can hear. Has had routine repairs and regular maintenance on schedule. Starts right up and does not smoke at idle and no smoke while driving. No blow by or pressure from oil cap.

      Looks decent, the clear coat is coming off in spots, and a large (shallow 2-3mm deep )scrape on passenger side bed but the body gets a B+ in my opinion. The cab is pretty much perfect, door hinges good, no rust anywhere on cab. Bed is 99.9% rust free with only paint chips. Original paint with no bodywork.

       Underside is in fantastic shape with only normal surface rust on unpainted surfaces. Ready to go to work, all fluids up to date and almost everything is working as designed except: Drivers power seat is jammed? Passenger power lock makes noise but doesn’t move. All doors lock and unlock with the key. Cracked windshield and minor crack on dash.

      Selling because I have a 93 Ram 12 valve 1 ton that was down for transmission repairs and I needed this 97 to do some work that ended up not getting done......so it’s time for someone to put this rig to work. Located in Lolo, MT. 59847

     I would not hesitate to drive this across the country. I will assist in shipping, can deliver truck to Town Pump truck stop down the road, for pickup.
