About this vehicle
Cool old Dodge Ram truck that sounds and runs great. Gets lots of attention.Seller's Notes
Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, with no guarantee whatsoever, EXCEPT if the buyer arrives and discovers a MAJOR issue that I failed to disclose. In that event I would refund the buyer's deposit, no questions asked. This does not include minor cosmetic issues common to any old vehicle. All buyers are encouraged to perform a personal inspection of this vehicle, or hire an agent to do so. $500.00 deposit by PayPal due immediately at completion of sale, and the balance due within 7 days. Balance may be cash on arrival, or bank to bank transfer. Buyer may use a check, but it will take up to 14 days to clear. I can store the vehicle at the buyer's risk for up to 30 days following full payment. I'm used to working with shippers, and have a good place to load.Vehicle Details
87 D100 Ram. Cranks, runs, drives, and stops great. I've driven it on several 200 mile trips with no problems.
Zero rust on this truck.
Good tires.
Recent Flowmaster dual exhaust...sounds great (although the video makes it sound pitiful).
Gets very good gas mileage
Pretty expensive sound system that works.
Clear NC title in-hand and in my name.
Lights, heat, guages, etc. all work.
Just changed the oil and greased what is greasable.
Just a cool old truck that gets attention wherever it goes.
Having said all that, anyone that is accustomed to old vehicles knows that it would be impossible to list all the small issues and potential problems. Here are the major ones I'm aware of:
Needs a window switch on the passenger side. I can short the wires and make the window go up and down, but it's a pain. Driver's side works OK, but the bezel is missing.
The paint is flat and faded overall. The driver's side front fender is wrinkled and has a 1" hole cut through under the parking light....I have no clue what for.
When first cranked cold there is a minor rattle around the front of the engine..alternator/timing chain area. Goes away after a couple of minutes and seems to cause no problems.
A cigarette burn on the front seat bottom driver's side.
The suspension control arm on the passenger side has 2 rubber bushings...the rear one is mostly gone. Doesn't affect the driving as far as I can tell.
Transmission drips some.
