1927 Type 35 Bugatti replica, based on a VW pan
and running gear. The running gear is a ball joint front end, rear swing axle
suspension and 4 speed transaxle, drum brakes all around, 4 bolt VW pattern
wheels, 1600 dual port engine. Engine fires right up and sounds great, and runs
strong, shifts easy with no issue, brakes could stand to be adjusted (pedal is
low but stops fine). I recently replaced the fuel pump for leaking oil and have
not noticed any fresh oil leaks. Fuel gauge not working, lights work. Paint has
a couple of cracking spots on the engine cover (see photos). MILEAGE IS NOT ACCURATE DUE TO SPEEDOMETER WAS USED WHEN INSTALLED. The fiberglass body
previously had decals of Gran Prix on both sides of the cowl. There is slight
discoloration from the decals that could probably be rubber out. Bought from an
estate of a gentleman who passed away, so I am limited to its history. Clean
Oregon title, titled as “1969 Bugatti replica”. Not currently registered since
it is not currently insured and I don’t drive it. If you are seriously interested, I would prefer you arrange to inspect the vehicle in person to make sure you will be happy with your purchase. Local pick up only. $500 deposit within 48 hrs of sale closing and balance due in cash upon pick up.
