Less than 500 miles on the transmission, fuel injection pump, starter, battery, oil, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, and timing belt. Body has 110.6k miles. I believe the engine was rebuilt but I don't know when - it would have been from the previous owner (I bought this in 2007). The paint was fading and I had it repainted with high quality paint in 2010. Top of the roof has slight fading again but the rest of the car the paint still looks new and is a lovely deep green/grey. It has almost no rust (I'll include a photo of the small rust spot in the back). Clean title and current registration in California. Smog exempt! Starts up right away, drives fine with no shakes on the freeway (though acceleration is slow on these 1.6 liter engines - it's the trade off of the great MPG.)

Issues:

One or two motor mounts are busted (this is a common issue) so the car rattles more than usual (though they all rattle). Easy enough fix if you have a motor jack and I'll include the motor mount part with the car.

The sun roof is off its track on one side so that rattles too, and you have to pull one side of the sunroof with your other hand as you crank it open/closed.

There's a cd player deck in the console and an amp in the back connected to two tweeters, two 6x9s, and a subwoofer, but currently the deck isn't working.

The seats have some wear. The interior trim is missing from the roof but to me it looks kinda cool that way.

The right triangle window does not open. I'll include the replacement window with the car.

AC does not work. I think it's just a missing Freon thing as you can feel that it runs when you turn it on, it just doesn't push cold.

Horn isn't working right now. It recently did - not sure what happened.

Dash is in good shape because it's always had a dash cover but the panel underneath the glove box was replaced with a different color (dark red) instead of the light blue that is the rest of the trim.

I'll include 4 shop manuals (Haynes Repair Manual, Haynes Workshop Manual, Bently Service Manual, and Poor Richards "How to Keep Your VW Alive") and a bunch of parts with the car, including: headlight, wheel rim, front windshield seal, oil filter, several spare belts and hoses, the front license plate, windshield wipers, CV Boot kits, jack and tire iron, spare tire, sun shades, seat covers, jumper cables, side view mirrors, right triangle window, timing belt and cover, starter core, and injection pump core.
