You are bidding on a well loved and properly modified 1978 Porsche 911sc Targa. It has a great looking modified, yet subtle improved stock exterior. Sporting a fiberglass Carrera Rear Spoiler and larger front modified S spoiler (Can handle a larger oil cooler, if desired). Also has a full fiberglass rear bumper. All in excellent condition and undamaged. Beautiful Polished Fuchs Wheels. Has two tops - original folding top and a lightweight carbon fiber style solid top.  Paint is in above average condition with know major blemishes or defects. It is 46 years old and has been refinished to a higher standard, but not perfect. I give the exterior a solid  8 out of 10 and I might be overly critical. The interior has been modified with RS style door panels and pulls. Electric seats have also been added, with the overall interior being very comfortable and well sorted. S type steering wheel feels great. It looks to be original dealer add-on AC components inside, that is original to the car. It does blow "Porsche cold" and may be better with a service. It has an upgraded compressor and superior to original 1978 offering. Mechanically, it looks to have upgraded suspension, with larger sway bars, newer bushings and updated engine components. Case has definitely been apart and many, many new components. Builds good power, sounds great and runs well. Does have a known oil leak at oil pressure sender or engine mounted oil cooler, priced accordingly for the knowledgeable Porsche enthusiast.  A great better than driver condition vehicle to enjoy and go to club events, car shows or daily drive.  Many years and miles left in this classic 911 with some tasteful and appreciated upgrades. We love these cars and have been buying and selling them for 30 years.
