Garage kept by original owner. The car has been mostly garaged for the past 3 years, driven only 5,000 miles since owned (meant to be fun weekend car & preservation project). Did my best as far as maintenance, but certain items are too laborious such as rear main seal & timing seals. Timing belt still looks good & water pump also shows no signs of failing. For the most part meticulously maintained and most of oil seals have been replaced. Brake rotors F&R replaced; Rear brake pads changed; Motul RBF600 brake fluid @ 212k; Power steering line changed (no more leaks); Power steering fluid flushed & line replaced; VTEC solenoid gasket; Oil cooler gasket; Distributor O ring gasket; Valve cover gasket; Valve cover repainted VHT Wrinkle Black; Cam cap seal; NGK 8019 blue spark plug wires; NGK OEM spark plugs; Oxygen sensor rear replaced. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS / NO LIGHTS ON DASH; Full synthetic oil changed; Inspected by Honda Dealership. The interior was completely removed and reinstalled to do extensive cleaning & detailing, sanitizing, and replacement of HVAC components: blower motor, heater core, ac evaporator, ac lines, coolant flushed & replaced. Sound deadening and insulation have also been removed in entire floor and behind dashboard. Taillight gaskets changed no more water in trunk (known issue with these cars). 5th gen Prelude, clean and stock. Adult owned. All Original everything works, no Check engine light, Tires are great, no shifting or transmission issues (2001 model have much improved auto trans), VTEC kicks in at 5200rpm, clean interior, never smoked in and no pets. Minor surface rust and dings on side. Hood latch broke (fixed) but now there’s a dent on hood which can either be fixed or replaced (my plan was to go lightweight Carbon Fiber but no time have other projects).
