We will start with the exterior of this 1600. The body on it is in phenomenal condition with beautiful body lines with excellent fit of the panels. It's showcased in the Pogoda Red paint that sports a beautiful finish that's slick to the touch. It's accented by the black soft top that was replaced at the time of the restoration. It also features the side body molding and driver outside mirror. Both the front and rear bumpers have a beautiful finish to them. All the tail lights and headlight lenses and bezels are in excellent condition as well. It's sitting on the stock 14" Wheels with Hub Caps and 185/65/14 Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside, it's just as nice as the exterior. They did a great job on the restoration and finished out in a tan and black color scheme that flows perfectly with the exterior. Both door panels are beautiful along with all the trim and handles. The front bucket seats have also been redone and the padding and fit is excellent. All new carpet was also installed. It features the center console which houses the 4-speed shifter and AM/FM Radio. Looking at the dash we can see the pad and glove box are phenomenal. All the factory gauges are beautiful as well and it also comes with the stock Datsun Steering Wheel. Inside the trunk is all solid and detailed with the trunk mat, spare, and jack.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Datsun. Under the hood, we can see the inner fenders and firewall are in great shape as well. The 1600CC engine is set up with dual carbs. It's dressed in the stock-style air cleaner and a factory valve cover. The 1600 CC runs through the Four Speed Manual Transmission and the stock rear wheel drive rear end. When we look under it we can see that the floor pans are all original and in rock-sold condition. The frame is in excellent condition as well and rock solid. It comes with Disc Brakes on the Front and Drums out back. On the highway, it runs and drives excellently. The clutch is in great condition as it shifts with ease. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
