Up for sale is a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser LC100. LC100 is famous for its bullet-proof engine and transmission. The car has a clean title, relatively low mileage and still runs very strong. The NJ inspection is valid till Oct 2025. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Its 4.7L and v8 engine make it run like a beast. I am the second owner and have kept it very clean (see pictures) and serviced regularly, including engine oil change, front and rear differential oil change, etc. All the original documents and most of the service records since purchase are included. This car is a perfect choice for the LC100 enthusiast to modify for off road drive and tow heavy stuff, although I never tried off road or towing at all.
As an almost 20-year-old car, this car does have some scratches and dents on the body. Please read carefully, the fuel gauge shows empty even if you fill the gas tank. There are currently around 1/4 of the tank left. You can connect an external fuel gauge to indicate the level of fuel or change the fuel sensor to fix it. The check engine light, VSC Trac and VSC OFF lights are on, probably triggered by the fuel light. Sometimes they go off without doing anything. It seems a common issue of Toyota Land Cruiser. A change of the fuel tank sensor might resolve the issue, but I don't have time to take care of it.
The chassis does have some rust on the bottom. The front bottom cover had been changed several years ago. I have bought an OEM gas tank cover but never had time to have it replaced. It's not necessary to install the gas tank cover if you drive in cities. I also bought Toyota transmission fluid and did not have time to replace it. I will throw it in the trunk for free. Also included are Toyota genuine oil filters, one engine air filter, and one transmission filter. Two original keys will be included, one is with remote control and the other is the key without remote control.
Three covers of the rack/rail end on rooftop are lost (see pictures), due to aging of the plastic material. It's not really needed, but you can find it on Ebay and install easily if you really care about it.
Overall, this car is not a regular family car but suited for those who really know Toyota Land Cruiser. LC100 is especially famous for its modern design and reliability. It still looks stylish after 20 years. You will need to do some work if you care about the flaws described above. But if you don't want to, it runs very smoothly and can be used without problems.
