1972 Pontiac Firebird with a 400 motor, formula hood, and original formula air cleaner. One of those air cleaners alone just sold on eBay a few months ago for $3000. I believe the car was a 350 originally it has a 400 in it now which runs, just started this morning for about 30 seconds and my Edelbrock carburetor starts filling up with gas. Float must be stuck, It has been sitting for about a year and fired right up, I am only selling the car because I am moving back to Chicago at the end of this month. In a hurry to take care of my parents. My father is having health issues I have been restoring this car for years. I am an ASE master certified mechanic since 1996. Car has a clean Nevada title in my name. Car was painted a few months ago. Paint job is not perfect but very nice and was painted at a reputable body shop. I purchased the front nose off eBay because the original was all deteriorated, I believe it was hit prior in the left front lower corner because it does not fit correctly in the left front of the vehicle. Close but not perfect, Looks OK but everything needs to be lined up better. I just bolted the car together to sell it as I am leaving in a hurry, the wheels have been restored tires are good condition and they all hold air car has new carpet interior has been redone, the dash is cracked that is a dash overlay, the floors are perfect zero rust. The only spot of rust is a tiny bit in the right rear quarter behind the wheel, which I included a picture of from the inside where you can see the surface rust. This is a perfect car to go all the way and restore and do an LS swap which I was going to do, I just installed a brand new windshield and brand new battery, fuel pump, transmission, lines, rebuilt distributor, new, pick up coil and vacuum advance, new front calipers and shocks. I spent years finding all of the hard to find Pontiac parts. Headliner needs to be redone, Car is complete other than the following items are missing center console lid, passenger armest, chrome windshield trim, chrome rear glass trim, belt moldings, chrome rocker trim, the car does not have any rubber seals, door seals, trunk, seal, etc. it is ready for those to be installed. All those parts are available on eBay and not expensive. I am moving home at the end of the month I will advertise the car locally for sale as well. Please contact me with any questions. The guy I bought it from was an old-school hot rodder who had it sitting around and the mileage is at zero on the dashboard. Note under the right rear bumper there is a dent you can see in the pictures.
