EXTERIOR: Exceptional paint and body. All the gaps line up correctly, the doors, trunk, and hood shut smoothly. The paint is like a piece of orange glass. It's smooth, glossy, and has no cracking or shrinkage. The glass looks like new, and the trim has a mirror like finish. The bumpers look rechromed and new as well as the front end trim. It's sitting proud on new 15 inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with Mickey Thompson radial tires, fatter in back.
INTERIOR: Nice fresh interior! The door panels look new as well as the hardware. The comfortable and classy folding bench seat has been recushioned and reupholstered as well as the rear seat. The padded dash fits nice and looks fresh. The gauges, knobs, and buttons are functional, and completed with a steering column tachometer, and Summit Racing auxiliary gauges. Arguably the best feature is the Hurst shifter and white ball knob for easy fun shifting through the gears. A nice EFI FITech controller with a screen is installed to monitor the cars performance.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show car engine bay! We just paid for a new engine and installation! 383ci - 425HP built by Pake's performance out of Janesville Wisconsin. OEM specs with hotter cam. FI-Tech fuel injection system with controller, 383 air cleaner, WEIAND aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb with CoolCarb plate. Nice, finned Holley valve covers complete the look. MSD ignition delivers the spark. Power steering makes life easier. Champion cooling aluminum radiator with complete shroud and fan. All the wiring is routed neatly and wrapped nicely.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk is painted gloss orange as well as the jamb. New weather stripping was installed. The entire inside of the trunk is also painted gloss orange and looks really well done. It comes complete with a trunk mat, and full size matching spare wheel and tire!
UNDERSIDE: Nice ground up restoration, Rust free! Rebuilt front suspension: bushings, ball joints, control arms and swaybar end links. New shocks in back. Front disc brake conversion, drums in back, e-brake is hooked up. Rebuilt/replaced rear suspension: leaf springs and shocks. New rear drum brakes. Gas tank looks new and is painted nicely. Has an inline electric fuel pump with new lines. Oe style dual exhaust, without Borla mufflers into rectangle chrome tips. Bottom of the motor is fresh. It has extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. Clean, period correct, 833 4-speed manual trans. Mopar 8 3/4 rear end. The floors and frame look rust free and solid. Nice satin black with chip guard coating.
SERVICE: We just spent $7,000 on this Road Runner! The new engine and install was several thousand dollars, we also fixed the headlights, speedometer, and adjusted the parking brake cables to function properly.
