The car boasts a sleek black exterior with matching black vinyl interior, and it’s powered by a powerful 440ci Six Pack V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
The Barracuda was originally Sassy Grass Green but was stripped to bare metal and repainted in a striking black with a matching vinyl roof. The trunk floor and A-pillars were repaired before the new paint was applied. It features ‘Cuda-style touches like front fender vents, “billboard” side panels with 440 markings, and emblems on the hood and tail panel. Other exterior details include chrome bumpers, fog lights, faux hood scoops, a driver-side mirror, rear window louvers, a Go Wing spoiler, and dual exhaust finishers.
The car rides on polished Cragar 15” alloy wheels with 235/60 front and 275/60 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires, which have raised white lettering. It has Hotchkis torsion bars and shock absorbers, and power-assisted disc brakes in the front with drums in the back.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, with matching door panels and carpeting. It’s equipped with a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, air conditioning, and a push-button AM radio. The rim-blow steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The odometer shows 90k miles, with about 100 added by the current owner, though the true mileage is unknown.
Under the hood, the Barracuda has a replacement 440ci V8 engine with Six Pack induction featuring triple two-barrel carburetors. It’s also equipped with a rotary-style air conditioning compressor. Recent maintenance includes an oil change and a new fuel filter. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, and it has Hooker four-into-one headers with an H-pipe exhaust system.
