Hello and welcome! Up for sale is my 1960 MGA 1600 MKI Roadster. This beautiful classic British sports car was completely restored between 2018 and 2022. Over the course of 4 years what started out as an excellent base was fully stripped and restored from the ground up. Not a bolt was spared! The car retains all of its original metal body work and is painted in Olde English White with a brand new rich red leather interior.

Comes with BMIHT (British Motor Industry Heritage Trust) certificate, which shows the car came from the factory in OEW with Red Trim. The MG has a clean title in my name and is currently registered/safety�d and insured.

Mechanicals: The original 1600 B series engine was rebuilt and resealed around 3,000 miles ago. During which the head was rebuilt and fitted with hardened seats to allow use of modern unleaded gasoline. The engine has excellent compression over 150 psi on all 4 cylinders. The twin SU carburetters were refurbished with new jets and bearings. Transmission: A new clutch kit was fitted and the original flywheel resurfaced. All gears flow perfectly on the original 3-synchro 4 speed manual transmission.

Brakes and Hydraulics: The entire hydraulic system was overhauled with new British made metal lines and new clutch/brake master cylinder. Brand new brake calipers/rotors and pads at the front. Restored original brake drums with new shoes and cylinders in the rear.

Electrical: all electrics are fully functional with a brand new original style wiring harness through the entirety of the car. A new electronic ignition system for reliability is installed, the original parts are available on request.

Body: this MGA is completely rust-free. New original type paint. The paint is coded as Jaguar Olde English White. New seals and rubber fittings through the entirety of the car. New chrome bumpers and fittings.

Interior: The interior features a brand new red leather interior kit. British made and professionally fitted. New seat rails installed for easy operation. A brand new British made convertible top is fitted as well. Side curtains are available but show their age.

Shipping to California is included with the price of the vehicle to ease costs. It takes about 2 weeks from the time we drop off the car at the port until it reaches California. Full payment expected within 7 days of the auctions end. I accept cashier�s checks, money orders and wire transfers. Cash is accepted in person only.
