This 1978 MG Midget was refurbished in orange over tan and orange vinyl. Latest work work included replacing the carburetor, alternator, valve cover, rear tires, and muffler. Powered by a 1,493cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with a replacement black convertible soft top, 13? Rostyle wheels, a luggage rack, dual side mirrors, driving lights, and a Pioneer stereo head unit linked with aftermarket rear speakers.

The car underwent a color change from white to the current shade of orange circa 2017. Exterior details consist of a replacement black convertible soft top, a luggage rack, dual side mirrors, driving lights, and black rubber bumpers.

The 13? Rostyle wheels are fitted with polished trim rings and are mounted with 145/80 Laramie front and Zeetex ZT2000 rear tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. An upgraded brake master cylinder was installed under previous ownership, and the rear tires were replaced in 2024

The refurbished interior features seating surfaces and interior panels trimmed in custom brown and orange vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a Pioneer stereo, a speaker mounted in the center stack, twin speakers mounted behind the seats, manual crank windows, and MG Midget-embroidered headrests.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles

Power is provided by a 1,493cc inline-four, which is equipped with a replacement Zenith-Stromberg carburetor that was installed in 2022 along with a new alternator.

An alloy valve cover was fitted under current ownership, and additional details include an aftermarket air cleaner and an in-line electric fuel pump.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The rear muffler was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Typical MG Oil drips. Underside and body are clean and respectable.

A very nice example

Local pick up is preferred - as I would prefer the new owner to see this beauty in person
