Vehicle Details
This Sol is a survivor, especially since it is finished in its original Samba green pearl, which is the most coveted color.
Car was originally purchased in PA. The owner had it sprayed with Ziebart due to the salt on the roads. However it has always been garaged. Never exposed to the elements. The engine bay appears to be black but that is just the protective coating. Rest assured that Samba is underneath. The first owner was also a Honda employee and in 1996 had the second gen. targa seals replaced under warranty. I have that paperwork, along with maintenance records stemming back to 1996.
The second owner purchased the car in 1997 and kept it as a weekend driver for 27 years. He also kept it garaged and never took it out in any of the elements. I have records of the timing belt being changed, water pump, etc.
The ONLY reason I am letting this car go is because a 30k mile, 1 owner Si popped up in Nebraska. It’s on its way to me now.
I can’t keep both so this is a real opportunity to get one of the greats that still remain.
The car has given me zero issues. I took it into Honda (as seen on the Carfax) and they inspected and serviced the car. NO major concerns. They notified me of a very small oil leak. So small it doesn’t drip one drop on my garage floor.
The car also has some paint imperfections. Please see the photos and if you have any concern or questions I will do my absolute best to answer them.
The interior is immaculate. Original Samba Zig Zag mats and seats. The seats always had covers on them and they look new.
This car can be something you take to shows, but also a car that you will be able to drive and make memories with.
Again any questions let me know. I’m happy to help however I can.
Thanks for looking!
