1978 Ford F600 4x4 Brush Fire Truck
25K orig miles one owner since new in unbelievable condition. Runs and drives very well and and draws a crowd wherever it goes. This is an extreme duty truck that is very capable on or off road with Hi/Lo four wheel drive and complete fire fighting apparatus and water storage onboard. Fire Department maintained since new and it shows with extensive records and paperwork including original dealer purchase agreement, vehicle option and build sheets, warranty card with VIN plate, unused spare key and key code tag, operators manuals, original fire apparatus contract and install documents, service records and even the original 1978 title.
This is a true factory F66 and finding a truck in this condition with these drivetrain components would be near impossible.

Firefighting bed/box seen here was a retrofit custom unit installed in 1995 to replace the original unit with receipts present. At that time the entire truck was refinished to include fiberglass front fenders, new doors and a complete repaint of cab and new custom box including the gold/black striping lettering etc. The truck is in exceptional condition with only a few minor defects that were touched up ex: small paint chips, chrome bumper chip, small crack in alum rear bumper 2-3”where corner made contact, floor matting drivers side worn through 6”x10” area otherwise great, a few oil/fluid seeps on drivetrain etc typical on 46 yr old vehicle, paint is flaking off with surface rust on frame and undercarriage in some areas as usual and small old repair at front of interior rockers(see pic). Winch was previously removed but bumper is built to accommodate with cover shown.
Paint shines up very nicely as do all the exterior accessories. Interior is excellent as well with a HD black textured vinyl seat and original components throughout. Numerous controls, gauges, switching and chrome make for an impressive display from the drivers seat of this classic 4x4 that shows extremely well and is ready for work, show or your custom build.
A very exceptional heavy duty 4x4 by all standards that was built to perform in extreme terrain and conditions that has been driven very little since new.
Very unlikely that there is a cleaner F600 4x4 on the planet with documented mileage this low.
