Vehicle Details

"The blue lagoon" Is a 1967 Chrysler Newport Custom 2 door hardtop. 383 high performance big block V-8 with a 4 barrel carb....ordered from the factory. Automatic transmission.

She runs and drives excellent.

At some point it was repainted a baby blue...original blue is visible in the trunk and engine compartment. Paint is okay...but would definitely benefit from a respray.

She is SOLID!! The only rust I have found is around the lower part of the rear window...I do have the trim that is missing there also.

All of the glass is intact and good.

The seats were redone at some point and unfortunately the sun took its toll on some of the seats. The headliner...carpet...door panels are all original and in good condition. Some of the interior chrome will need some elbow grease as they have some corrosion.

She was ordered with an electric front bench seat which still works great.

The engine runs very nice. Has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb...which I feel could use a freshen up. I replaced the plugs and wires. I also replaced the old original starter which was getting tired. Has a brand new battery.

Everything seems to work as it should down to the AM radio.

Has Rallye wheels with brand new white wall tires.

The brakes were obviously gone through and work excellent!

Newer dual exhaust sounds very nice.

I am located in Colville Washington....about an hour and a half north of Spokane.

If you've been looking for a classic Mopar...she may just fit the bill!

Exterior

Hello.... Up for your consideration is a beautiful 1967 Chrysler Newport Custom. We call her "the blue lagoon" You just don't see these around anymore! This one was ordered with the High Performance 383 big block with a 4 barrel carb. Automatic transmission. At some point in the past someone had it repainted a baby blue. Original blue was a different shade...still visible in the trunk and engine bay. This car is SOLID! The only small bit of rust I can find is around the rear lower window...I do have the trim that is missing. All of the glass is intact and good. The seats were recovered around the same time as the paint was redone....unfortunately it sat in the sun and some of the seats are a bit sun burned. Has the original carpet....headliner...door panels etc. Alot of the chrome inside will need a good scrubbing....Car was ordered with an electric bench seat that works great. Has Rallye wheels with brand new tires. I have a feeling some work was done to the engine...some of the gaskets appear new. I replaced the starter...as the old original starter was getting tired! I also put in a brand new battery. Has an aftermarket Edelbrock 4 barrel carb...I believe it would benefit from a rebuild. I put new plugs and wires on. New fuel filter. She runs very nice with plenty of power! Shifts excellent. Someone put on dual exhaust that sounds great! Everything seems to work like it should including the AM radio. The brakes were obviously gone through and work excellent! She drives down the road as well as she did in 67! Handles very nicely. Restore or just enjoy her as she is! If you've been looking for a great old Mopar...she may just fit the bill! I'm located in Colville Washington....about an hour and a half north of Spokane.
