The Honda Gold Wing is a series of touring motorcycles manufactured by Honda. Gold Wings feature shaft drive and a flat horizontally opposed engine. Introduced at the Cologne Motorcycle Show in October 1974, the Gold Wing went on to become a popular model in North America, Western Europe and Australia, as well as Japan.
For consignment, a Honda Goldwing from 2004 that has all the bells and whistles needed for a long haul. A 6-cylinder engine, reverse gear, EFI, comfortable seating for 2 and storage on board and on either side with the hard saddle packs. Plenty of handlebar controls and a CB radio to go with the AM/FM/CD player.
Exterior
Deep black covers the fairings and most surfaces of this bike. A front windscreen with adjustable headlights and dual side view mirrors for wide field of view front to back. There is extra storage on the back of the passenger's captain's chair, and you have access to more storage next to the rear wheel. Up front chromed telescoping forks keep the bike straight and true through the roughest of roads.
Interior
Emphasis on comfort with the standard cascading seat with back captain's chair for the boss. These are covered in black leather and are very comfortable. The arms of the captain's chair have this covering as well and some built-in speakers are molded into the back of the seat. A central panel faces the driver and contains all the convenience buttons and added lockable storage glove boxes. More controls are in the driver's leg area and plenty of footrest options are also on this cruiser.
Drivetrain
1832cc's of opposed 6-cylinder with EFI is between the riders' legs. There is a 5-speed manual transmission with electric reverse. A drive shaft drive ends in the back with a conventional axle. Disc braking is on front and rear, and a swing arm in back for the rear suspension.
A great cruiser, wonderfully appointed with creature comforts and plenty of handlebar controls, and storage. Let's ride across the country and we do not have to concern ourselves with the chain breaking!
