2011 Honda Insight HYBRID Gas/Electric

Rides like new, very clean, rust free, Cold Air, Tight Steering, 1 owner, no oil leaks, no burning oil, no weird smells, very clean.

Hybrid Gas Electric EPA-estimated fuel economy is 40 mpg city/43 mpg highway and 41 mpg combined, but at slow highway speeds I can get 50+ using air-conditioning intermittently. I typically get 41 mpg with air conditioning full blast in the suburbs, 44 with a.c. off in the winter.

148,100 miles adult driven mostly highway, non smoker.

Garaged every night and canopy parked most work days.

--Back up camera added aftermarket.

-- 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch, never towed anything, but it is great for a bike rack.

Back seat and passenger seat were hardly ever used. 

I have a 3 ring binder full of maintenance receipts.

--Tires have 90% tread.

--New Airconditioner compressor 1 year ago, --works great, blows cold

--New platinum sparkplugs a few years back, should be good for 10 years.

Newer ceramic window tint dark on all windows, Legal (medium) tint on front driver window. Front Windshield has untinted ceramic window film which blocks UV and infra-red.

Sunshade always used to protect the dash from sunlight.

Factory Carpeted Floormats are like new as I had rubber mats protecting them.

Hoses and belts are in great condition.

Fluids changed always on schedule, most recently in late 2023 and 2024:

--Brake fluid 2024

--Transmission Fluid

--Power steering fluid 2024

--Oil (past 5 years I changeit myself with full synthetic, before that it was aways changed at Honda dealer using semi-synthetic.) Always chaged at 60%

--Transmission Fluid 2024

--Radiator Antifreeze Coolant a few years ago per schedule.

Left rear door was damaged many years ago, and rather than pull the dent or use bondo, I replaced the door and repainted the entire car. Paint still looks new, but there is a small area where the clear coat is coming off on the hood, and a few very minor small chips on hood 

No warning lights on dash.

When car was recently aligned it was checked , no OBD codes or other issues.

Only known problems:

Right passenger window is in closed position, and usually does not open, I have a replacement window motors ready to install.  

CD player does not always eject the CD, so I don't use it.

Evrything else works 100%- power windows, power door locks, power side mirrors, retractable seatbelts, radio, cruise control, all lights, shifts smooth.

Lots of cargo 16 cubic feet fits in the Hatchback, and with the back seats down it is huge, 31 cubic feet. Includes a retractable cargo shade and protective floor mat.

100% reliable, can honestly say it never had any problems other than I replaced the A.C. a few years ago, blows cold now.  Recently drove 1,000 miles to see solar eclipse, no problems.

Great about town, and awesome MPG for highway commute. Rides smooth and straight with, no pulling, nice and tight steering wheel, no loose play in it.

3 keys, one is a "flip key" I had made at a locksmith. Remote control doorlocks work grea with flip key.  

The 2 spare keys open doors and start car, but the remote door unlock may not work .

Do not bid if you can't pay, I will report nonpayers to Ebay.   Dont tell me your spouse won't let you pay.

Car is in South Florida if you want to inspect or have a mechanic look at it.  You can drive it away, or I will cooperate with your shipper.

Only selling it as I bought a later model Insight, hate to see it go.
