1948 GMC 1 ton flat bed truck with 5 window cab. This has been a 17 year project. Completely stock original truck pieced together from four different trucks over the years. Color is live oak green. Grill has been rechromed. Front bumper rechromed and is shown in one of the photos. New stock replacement wiring harness. New reupholstered seat, top and bottom. Stainless glove box lid. New rubber gaskets for all windows. New and used glass included. Five 17" split rim wheels. Four new and one used bias 8-ply tires and brand new long stem inner tubes. New lug nuts. New rear and front spring U-bolts. Steel hub caps, refurbished painted gray. The following items have been powder coated: brake lines, gas tank, inner fenders, valve cover, oil bath air cleaner, oil filter, bell housing, exhaust pipe hangers, grill to frame brackets, bumper brackets, side engine cover, and running boards. New old stock (NOS) parking light assemblies. New cab mounts. Engine is a 228 GMC 6 cylinder and came from a running 1950 GMC. New rebuilt head. Refurbished four speed manual transmission. New water pump. Radiator rebuilt professionally in SLC. Original 9 ft long flat bed with original wood. Have all the side gates for pattern from an 8 ft flat bed. $35,000 invested in this project. Must be picked up, will not deliver.
