2002 Ford Excursion
I have owned this Ex for about 2.5 years. I started building her for overlanding, but it’s time to let her go. Here is a list of thinks I have done. Originally from Kentucky where it spent most of its life. Not a rust bucket.
New 175cc injectors, CNC stage 1 HPOP, stainless fuel lines, and crossover, new Fuel bowl, with Billet cap 6 way tuner. CAI. New Serpentine belt, and radiator flush buy Ford, New coolant tank.
Heavy Duty rebuilt transmission, with John woods valve body, Billet Torque Converter, and Derale cooling pan. Built by Basils Transmission Glastonbury CT
New Dana 60 Front Axle from a F350, all new Gaskets, seals, bearings. Axles, Mile Marker Manual Hubs. Stainless brake lines, Powerstop rear Disc brakes, and SSBC V8 Billet Brake kit front (16 pistons of stopping power on the front). She stops amazing!
BDS 6” lift with Fox Shocks, 4 degree shims allows her track smoother than stock.
Custom Powder coated Black Rhino 17”x10 rims I have an extra rim for a spare. Mickey Thompson 255/85/17 (35.5 x9) more ground clearance without all the extra drag. Better in rain and snow.
Custom built heavy duty rook rack, black wrinkle powder coating.
Rocker panels have been replaced by previous owner. Interior is average for the age, I thought about replacing the leather seat covers, but they aren’t that bad yet. Tinted windows, I’m sure there is more.
Cons,
The 12v outlet just stopped working probably a fuse but haven’t had time to look more into it, and a vacuumed leak is preventing the vents on the dash from blowing.
I have invested close to 20k in this rig, not interested in trades
