This truck has been updated for practical purposes. 83k original miles on Chassis, has the larger 254 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine from a fire truck with only 19,000 miles on it. Instead of the 239 cubic inch. This motor was used only in the F6 and is known to be a mighty workhorse. 4-speed Transmission and rear differential have been upgraded to mid 1970’s. It will now go down the road at 60-70 mph with power to spare.
Wiring has been gone through, turn signals, heater blower, light and even original horn in good working order. 16” wheels with decent rubber. Glass has no cracks except driver wing window with one crack. Windows go Up and down smoothly and without much effort. Brakes gone though and in good working order.
The Body’s excellent with no rot, super straight…No dents and original paint with great patina. This is a factory flatbed as ordered from ford. The bed has Ford Logo and not aftermarket. The boards are oak with no rot.. just need a little sanding and oiling.
Ready to be used and driven.
