Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to offer this one of a kind custom 1954 Chevrolet 210 for sale. This sleek ride has many custom touches and packs quite a punch, too! The first thing one notices is the luxurious House of Kolors' 2-stage urethane "Kandy Burgundy" paint (code KBC06), which is just beautiful in bright light. It was applied after the headlights and taillights were frenched, blocking and decking the hood, shaving the firewall, door handles and trunk locks, and adding door & trunk poppers (with emergency backup release), and the intensive prep labor shows in the result! The chrome trim will blind you if the sun hits it just right, too! The build was done to order in 2007 in Michigan (builder unknown), and was enhanced by its current owner, who purchased it from its first "post-build" owner in 2015. Since purchasing it, both the front and rear suspension were replaced with upgraded components and powder coated. In the front, it now features a Mustang II steering rack, tubular upper control arms and Wilwood disc brakes with multi-piston calipers. Out back, it has an adjustable 4-link rear with polished QA1 coilovers, a 9-inch Ford third member (with 3.73:1 gears and limited slip diff), and Wilwood disc brakes with multi-piston calipers. Under the hood is a freshly upgraded GM ZZ4 Crate 350 CID V8, which has been bored .030", along with being fully balanced: so it's now a 355 CID V8. That mighty mouse is topped by a polished Street & Performance upper and lower intake, with Tuned Port Injection, which feeds the air/fuel mix into the ported and polished aluminum heads. A set of ceramic coated shorty headers funnel the exhaust into the Flowmaster muffler-equipped dual exhaust, which really provide for a nice, muscular sound. A massive polished BeCool aluminum radiator with twin electric fans keeps the small block cooled very effectively. Behind the 355 CID V8 is a fresh 700R4 4-speed automatic, which was built to handle up to 600 HP/600 TQ, so it's more than up to the task of getting the power to the rear via the custom-built driveshaft. Inside, the clean looking tan interior features vinyl-trimmed cloth bench seating for both front and rear passengers, with seatbelts for up to 4 occupants. The glove box is hiding a large LCD screen-equipped entertainment system, so you'll not have to worry about giving up your favorite cruisin' jams! The driver gets the pleasure of viewing a custom set of VDO gauges, through the wood-rimmed billet aluminum steering wheel atop the polished iDidit steering column. The VDO gauges provide a vintage look, but modern tech behind them. Everyone inside will enjoy the cold Vintage Air A/C system, as well. A Lokar shifter falls easily to hand for the driver, and not only looks cool, but provides easy gear selection. The interior chrome surfaces are just as bright as the exterior chrome, so you may need to wear your sunglasses at night, too. [ omitted ].
