Up for sale is a PROJECT truck. It needs a lot of work. 1965 C10 long-bed, clean title in my name, and currently registered / tagged. Powered by a 1967 (date code 1966) 327 V8. Transmission is the granny-gear 4-speed. This truck runs, drives, and brakes. Odometer shows 47k miles, but that can't possibly be actual.
This C10 has new: radiator, heater core, battery, alternator and belt, and driveshaft carrier bearing. The tires have lots of tread. The body is essentially cancer-free. (There is some cancer in the bottom of the passenger door.) There was rust in the rocker panels, but I had the rockers professionally replaced by Ron Pepper Fabrication in Sacramento. The truck has been lowered 3 inches in front and 5 inches in the back.
Some of the less-than-perfect: the brake lights and turn signals do not work, so I feel that this truck needs to be trailered away. Windshield is cracked, but the rest of the glass is good. There is minor/medium bodywork needed all over the truck; the hood and bed sides are the worst. The engine runs good, but it has just started smoking. (I think it needs valve seals.) The clutch doesn't slip but it engages right off of the floor. This C10 has mufflers, but it is still really loud. All of the bed wood is gone.
You are welcome to check the truck out. Message me to set up an appointment.
