Listed is a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. Rarely will you ever see a Sprite project that has a such minimal amount of rust making it an ideal car to restore. I have looked this car over intensely and have found that the only rust holes are in the front driver's side floor. The rest of the car is solid and has been gone over with a magnet. The car does have some dents including in the rear fender (shown in pictures) and on the hood. While the rest of the bodywork if replaced looks to be done well the passenger side floor is not perfect. As previously mentioned previously the hood does have some dents but looks to be solid. It has the original heating duct mount, radiator shroud, and linkages for the handle. There has been a hole made in the center of the hood but a panel has been riveted on and a hole has been made on the side of the hood possibly for a radio antenna. The transmission tunnel has also been modified and a panel riveted likely for easier installation and service of the Ford transmission. Currently installed in the car is what I believe to be a Ford Cortina 1500cc engine along with this is a Ford 4-speed transmission. The engine does turn over however it is not running. The 2-barrel carburetor has been covered to protect from any wildlife getting into the engine. The car is not complete but contains major components like running gear. Everything shown on the car is what is included plus an original gas tank, spare wheel, rack and pinion, roll bar, and miscellaneous other parts as shown in pictures. Over 100 pictures have been taken of the car and can be shared via Dropbox. The car comes with a title that matches vin.

This car is located in Burlington, Wisconsin but could possibly be delivered to Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, or Massachusetts for a fee. Please ask about shipping prior to purchasing the car. If the delivery location is outside of the area all shipping will need to be handled by the buyer.

There must be a $500 deposit placed on the car after the sale. All sales are final so please look at the pictures closely prior to hitting the purchase button. If the buyer is not responsive via eBay message, phone call, or email after the sale within 3 business days the sale will be canceled and relisted. I encourage you to ask questions as it makes the transition all the better for both buyer and seller.
