This is one of the fewest examples left of original unmodified TDI Mark IV wagons with 5 speed manual transmission, rust free, spent all its life in Colorado except the last few months in Georgia. Very very clean car also Clean title in my name. No sagging headliner, no funky smells, no foam blowing out the vents as most older VWs do. Drives straight with no shakings or knockings, suspension is tight, cold AC. It gets a solid 47-49 MPG without the roof basket. Everything works as it should except the rear right door lock need to be pushed down manually sometimes, and starter whines a little when you start the car, also sometimes. Has Michelin X-Ice tires, two will need to be replaced in the near future. Brakes are in good shape. Car was maintained at the VW dealer in Colorado for the most part of its life, per CARFAX which I can provide, and under my ownership the following were replaced:
Camshaft kit, camshaft position sensor, valve cover gasket, tandem pump gasket, alternator pulley, air and fuel filter, engine oil and filter. Oil was changed twice after camshaft replacement. Timing belt has another good 60K miles left per my mechanic which inspected it at the time of camshaft replacement.
It has the engine covers, top and bottom which were left off intentionally so the new owner can check it out easier.
The car can be tuned and deleted with around $600 for longevity of the engine and exhaust components, also better MPG and more power.
I tried my best to include pictures of the imperfections that the car has.
I can pickup the new owner at Atlanta airport, or I can deliver the car for free up to 150 miles around North Georgia.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you and good luck!
