About the model The 1959 VW type 14 convertible is a rare find as the model debuted in 1958. The car turns heads on the road and at car shows. The Ghia has many parts in common with the Beetle which makes spare parts very easy to find.
History The mechanics and interior were fully restored in the early 2000s, and it has been lightly used since then. I purchased the car in 2008, and drove it up US highway 1 with no trouble. The car has been lightly driven since then. I imported the car to Canada in 2011, transported on a flatbed. The body was restored and painted in 2022. The engine is in great shape.
