Vehicle Details
This 2 door 1936 Nash Business Coupe was being lovingly restored as a hot rod, but my husband passed away in 2017 and never finished it. He replaced the motor in the late 1980s, but never got the body work done. The body was dent free when he found it, but when they pulled it out of an old barn back around 1990 it slipped back into a pole causing a dent in the trunk. I believe it to be mostly rust free and intact. The bench seat and the interior side panels were reupholstered in 1985, the hood is in the garage, as is the grill. To the best of my knowledge, the car been stored inside for almost all of its nearly 90 years. It's currently being stored in my garage, and has not been moved since 2005 when it was put there. It does not run, has been sitting since the motor was built in the late 1980s. It was briefly insured and registered in November of 2000, but was not used on the road and the registration expired in 2002. The original owner last registered it in 1967, and I have the last registration showing that it passed inspection on 3/3/67. I have a folder of receipts for some, but not nearly all, of the work done. Unfortunately pretty much everything else that I know about the car is stated above in this ad. The car is being sold as is, as a project car. Buyer will be responsible for pick up and transport, which is reflected in my reserve price.
