The overall condition of this vehicle inspected to be a #3 or stated as "good" per the Hagerty vehicle grading scale. This 1965 Mustang Convertible is an original unrestored vehicle and great cruiser. This Mustang was originally sold in Denver, making it a Colorado car its entire life.
The engine is a 289 cid 2V. The engine appears stock, The engine compartment is neat, tidy, could use a detail. This vehicle also has power steering. The transmission is a C4 automatic, however this car came originally with a more desirable 4 speed manual, that was switched out sometime in its life.
The suspension appears to be original with only wear parts replaced, the underside is original, and has not been undercoated. Features manual drum brakes, stock steel wheels with accessory spinner hubcaps and radial tires.
The body is in nice condition having been repainted at some point in its life. A small area of rust in the driver's floor pan will need to be addressed at some point. This car does have a newer convertible top assembly. All trim, bumpers and glass are in good condition.
The interior is stock original and features a front bench seat which is rarer than the standard bucket seats. Carpet seats door panels appear as original.
This is a nice unrestored Mustang.
