1949 FIAT Topolino B RESTORED to original colors and in beautiful condition.Seller's Notes
There is a scratch/small ding on the top left fender from what I believe is a mechanic dropping a tool/wrech while working on car at some point after restoration. The horn works all the time, so one wire was removed from horn. That’s it. I purchased this vehicle for my father who always wanted one as it was his first car back in Italy when he was young. The car was purchased restored (date unknown) and the engine was seized from sitting after restoration. We had the engine and brakes rebuilt at a cost of over $8000. Unfortunately he can no longer drive, sadly he never drove it at all. So the engine has zero miles since rebuild, just test miles. I have a video of the car driving, need to figure out how to upload. The most collectible Topolino is the model B. Only made for about one year, she features the body of the A with the upgraded engine of the C. This a a factory original car with no modifications and Matching numbers! The vehicle was restored to original condition and colors. The engine was rebuild last year by a Alfa/Fiat specialty shop with the two original owners of the shop having each 50 years of experience with these vehicles. They are Italian of course! The car starts and drives, all fluids were replaced- engine, transmission, rear axle and brakes. The brake system is new- Master cylinder, all 4 wheel cylinders and all brakes shoes. This car has original Italian plates from Verona Italy and some Italian permit on the windshield. There is a cool sticker on the radiator where it was serviced in Italy. All lights work, fronts rear, high beams, turn signals, etc. There is absolutely no rust or corrosion. This was a Frame Off restoration, underbody all coated as well. The two door locks are OEM NOS New, the interior is like new- seats, carpet and top have all been redone at restoration. Has all keys. Tires are like new tread wise, not sure of age.
