Classic Mopar project truck. Pretty close to stock on majority of parts. The original inline 6 was replaced by a marine 318. I have a mid-70's 225 slant six out of an Imperial that goes with the pickup if you want to take it back to the straight six setup. Remarkably rust free (e.g., rockers, door bottoms, cab floor, bed) given it's age. Run in salt-free Montana and Oregon roads only. Frame is straight. Interior is in pretty decent shape. The curved windshield is un-cracked and un-clouded. Headliner also in fine form.
Given it was a ranch truck followed by work rig for a carpenter, it is in nice shape.
The pickup does not run--the 318 may possibly be brought back to life but it has been sitting for 15 years without running. To be clear: this is very much a project truck. There is some potential bondo work on right rear quarter panel, front quarter panels have some dents, bed has one spot (right rear) where you can see bit of daylight, doors and hood need shims or adjustments, steering box needs to be rebuilt. Passenger side door window has crack
That all said, this is a great base for your American Iron project! Send to the body shop, make it cherry and take it to the drive-ins. Clear coat it, slam it and make a rat-rod. Get yourself 1st gen Cummins 4x4 running gear and imagine this with knobby tires! Blank slate.
3.5 rear axle
New Process 420 transmission
I have the original full 1960 Dodge service manual in great shape that goes too.
Buyer entirely responsible for all transportation/delivery logistics and costs. It will be need to be hauled and has to be winched on flatbed/trailer/dolly--it does not run.
Let me know what questions you have and I will be happy to reply and give you a full and forthright answer. If you are on fence but specific images of parts/areas you are interested in would help, let me know. I've sold one other vehicle on eBay and want both of us to be satisfied.
Note: odometer reading is most likely not accurate.
