This is a 1966 Impala SS 396 convertible out of Florida that was originally built in Duraville Georgia.. I had the car brought up last year, previous owner had the frame, 396 engine and transmission restored. I bought new top still in the box, new trunk pan that was totally installed, new heater core, new carburator, valve covers and came with new carpets . Car has beautiful floors, fenders, doors, rockers, hood, trunk lid, it still needs a little work on the lower rear quarters.. The car is a factory bucket seat console car with mostly original paint.. I have the Florida title that states low original miles and the car runs, drives, mostly stops and is complete.. The engine I am not sure its original but block code is 3855961 says its a 65-66 396 or 427 and suffix code is VR I cant find.. The Florida title was from 1989 then reissued in 2024 for resale, states 23142 actual miles... I believe this car was always a southern car that sat many years put away..
