Selling a 1973 FJ40 with 44,154 original miles. I bought this truck a few years ago and put a lot of work into it. It could use a little more love to be perfect but its been a lot of fun and reliable in its current state. The only reason I'm selling is because my wife thinks we have higher priorities like buying a house. Low ball offers will only strengthen my position to keep it.
To avoid wasting anyone's time I've provided all of the following details to be as transparent as possible. I also have videos you can review in the following links:

The good:
-Body work was done with a new side fender, and new rear doors, sanded and painted with a primer (I kept the primer as is because I thought it looked good that way but you may want to paint it.
-Front brakes were converted to disc brakes with JT Outfitters https://www.jtoutfitters.com/product/front-disc-brake-kit-for-toyota-land-cruiser-fj40-fj45-fj55-drums/
-Rear drum brakes and all brake lines were just replaced
-New American Racing Wheels and new tires
-New rear bumper and lights
-All lights rewired
-New gas tank and fuel lines
-New Fuel and water pump
-New windshield
-New Seatbelts (I have in box and not installed yet)
Things that could use attention:
-It's an old truck- the floors have different holes from screws and whatnot.
-The hard top isn't in good shape and has some rust on the top door attached to it as well as the bottom where it attaches to the frame. There is also not a latch to fix it to the bottom two doors so I've been rigging it with a bungee. This would be next on my list of things to fix if i were keeping. I think if I were to keep her I'd ditch the hard top and put on a bikini top or soft top.
-The front seat is currently mounted in a fixed position. Im 5'9. My brother just drove it and is 6'1 and he was fine with it but If your very tall it might need attention.
-Windshield wipers need repair
-The rear door needs a latch of some sort. I'm currently using a bungee.
-The fuel cover panel lock needs replacement (you can currently still open the panel to fuel up by manipulating it see video)
-when rolling up the windows you need to assist the handle by using your other hand to slightly press on the window.
-The weather strips surrounding the doors are pretty rotted and could use replacement.
-As I mentioned the gas tank is new but the gauge isnt registering the fuel levels for some reason.
