Vehicle Details

Clean Colorado title in the Seller's name. I am selling this prior to moving to Florida. This 1974 Saab Sonett III is a fun car to drive! When you drive it, your troubles melt away and you just smile! It has lived in Houston, Toronto, Edmonton, and now Denver, Colorado. "Previously registered overseas" refers to having been registered in Canada through two known owners. It is about as rust free as a 50-year-old car can be. The immediately prior owner had it stored in a large warehouse. It has been stored in my garage since arriving at my home. I purchased this from an awesome collector in Edmonton in September 2019. It was lovingly restored by a former aircraft engineer during its time in Toronto. A diary and pictures of that restoration are included with the purchase. It has the 1.7L Ford Taunus V4 Engine and upgraded with a Weber carb, thus, the notched hood. It includes sporty SAAB V4 graphics along the side and Saab Griffin decal on the hood, along with the auxiliary rally driving lights. I have a Mile Hi Auto rebuilt FoMoCo carb and replacement hood to permit you to bring it back to a more original state. Riding on Sonett soccer ball wheels, this '74 will take you back to classic car driving from a by-gone era. It's zippy, tight, and clean. I can provide more pictures and video upon request. This has a 5-digit odometer, so total mileage is unknown (TMU). Current mileage is just shy of 88,000 miles. The two QR codes in the photo array link to 1) 5 videos of this Sonett on YouTube, and 2) a folder on Microsoft OneDrive with all the photos, papers, and known history from the restoring owner. Also included are the following, the first three permitting the new owner to return it to its classic state:* Replacement hood* Replacement air intake* Replacement FoMoCo carburetor* Spare rear hatch glass (very hard to find).
