Additional modifications include an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor, ceramic-coated headers, a dual exhaust system, and a gold-finished air cleaner and valve covers. 289 CID V8 power is delivered to the rear wheels via a three-speed C4 automatic transmission said to have been rebuilt and fitted with a shift kit.
