1965 FORD MUSTANG HIPO  K CODE  4 SPEED CONVERTIBLE

BODY AN  CHASSIS

Recently restored to pristine condition throughout.  Rust free body, recently 2 yer old repaint in original Guardsman SHELBY blue,

Previous owner lived in Henderson Nevada  in that the entire undercarriage and body panels is free of corrosion and rust except  for some surface rust on the dual exhaust system., new convertible top and top boot completed in 2021,  front disk brakes, rear drum  brakes expanded to 2,5 inch shoes and finned drums, same as 65,66  Shelby Mustang, 15 inch style steel wheels with center caps  and new BF GOODRICH  redline tires.

DRIVETRAIN

289 HIPO V8  bored to   .030 increasing displacement to 306 c.i., balanced and blueprinted piston and crank assembly, all other HIPO engine  added during rebuild.  1240 miles on engine since rebuild.,  Autolite 4100 4 barrel carburator, roller rocker arms, Edelbrock Performer RPM  intake manifold, Petronix ignition with 8 mm plug wires, original radiator expanded to  4 staggered rows for cooling at Colorado high altitude, 4 speed toploader transmission, balanced driveshaft, original 9 inch rear axle assembly with 3;50  gear ratio.

INTERIOR

Original pony  interior car sll updated  with new dash pad , rally pac tach and clock, new carpets palomino color interior  with seats and  door panels upgraded to leather, center console,  all interior lighting replaced with new bulbs.

Original mileage not available as the number of previous owners is not known. 

The car is in great condition throughout, runs very strong,  I have a minimum price I am looking for and if not sold on this forum will seed another
