1969 Dodge Charger R/T Tribute.
$76500 No Trades, Located Des Moines, Iowa 515-two one zero -4647.
Selling a 1969 Dodge Charger 440 originally a 383 car. The car has been stored under a car cover in a temperature controlled garage.
Will try to be as accommodating as possible and try to answer as many questions as I can regarding the car.
This car has a little over 1200 miles since being redone by the previous owner.
The paint is in perfect condition. The clear is very smooth with no orange peel. The panels on this car have zero bondo and will pass any magnet test. The undercoating has a couple of scuffs through the black undercoating that I have not attempted to touch up.
The 440 engine was completely gone through, rebuilt and has a stroker kit installed. So it is currently a 505CI. The engine still retains hp manifolds. Had header but went back to the manifolds because I didn’t like to hear the exhaust leaks that come with them. A lot of the components under the hood are new or close to new. Also has an MSD Ignition Controller in the car. Below you will see a list of several things that were done to the car. Have a complete book.
The wheels are American Racing Magnum 500’s and BF Goodrich tires are fairly new. The front tires are 215/65R15 and the rear are 255/60R15. I don’t think there is one mark on the wheels since being installed. The grill has one crack where it pieces together however, I have a new one being installed. The stainless steel trim shows off really well.
Not an A/C car, but all the vents and electric blower motor work as they should.
The interior is in immaculate condition and has all been redone. The dash, door panels, carpet, seats etc. are all like new condition. All gauges have been redone and even the clock works. I did notice that the temperature gage was not working the other day.
Below you will find many photos of the car This car is a fun car to drive and certainly draw the crowds and the judges at the car shows. Most of the shows I’ve been to I’m the only one with a charger. As you know these are rare and becoming more rare and hard to come by. The car run strong and with the striker kit is wicked fast.
The built date on this car is Wednesday, November 19, 1969. Order number was187778.
