For auction is a 2005 Chevrolet Impala with 146,500 miles on it.  It is a comfortable and well-mannered car to drive.  A college student has driven it for the last several years. There is one ignition key and one key fob working properly.  The car has been cleaned, but further detailing would make a difference. It is still presentable, but has dings, scuffs and minor body damage.  All the wheels have considerable surface corrosion.
The car has been maintained over the last few years with minor repairs and oil changes.  Currently the harmonic balancer has started to separate causing the serpentine belt to become misaligned on the tensioner.  It will need to be replaced.
The driving experience is seamless; everything working properly.  Engine is quiet, transmission shifts well, steering is straight, and brakes have a good feel at the pedal, and stop the car straight.  The rotors have considerable rust simply from age.  There is a clunking in the front when going over bumps or uneven road surfaces.  All suspension and steering components have been checked recently and found to be in good order.  The probable issue/cause are from one or both of the front struts.
The interior expression when driving is just what an Impala of its generation should be, plush and comfortable.  All accessories work properly with excellent A/C operation.  Floormats are aftermarket, with originals in back covered over with them.  The carpets have been vacuumed but need further cleaning to get the best out of them. There are no tears, just stains.
The tires are in very good shape. They all have even wear on them, with the rear ones having slightly more tread on them.  They should be rotated soon.  The spare tire, a donut, is in good shape, not ever having been used.  It has been aired up to the proper inflation plus 5psi.  There is no rust at the bottom of the spare tire well.  All the tire changing, and stowage hardware is in place and secure.  Some of it is rusty but looks as if never used.
Vehicle is available for pick up only, at the end of auction by winning bidder.  Comes with a full tank of gas.  Come see the vehicle if you like.  Thanks for looking!
