The exterior looks very very nice.. the original paint shines very nicely and its very presentable .. turns heads everywhere it goes.. the body is very nice and solid.. it does have a noticeable dent on the drivers front fender and drivers door , other than that just minor parking dings .. all glasses are in good shape.. all lights work in order .. turn signals and brake lights work in order.. all moldings and trims are intact .. the underbelly is clean with no damages no rust and no leaks.. still has the factory yellow coating on the frame and the side rails... this car has always been garaged so the window trims and linings are in great shape..original VOLVO headlights look great with no fading .. tires have 50% life remaining ..wheels look great . still has the original California plates from 1987.. the golden state plate.. overall a very nice looking car.. the trunk is super clean with the spare tire and jack and tools..
The interior is in excellent shape.. carpets look new with no holes or rips.. seats had covers on them since new so they look very nice.. dash has no cracks which is rare for its age.. door panels and headliner is excellent shape.. manual windows and automatic door locks work fine.. has front heated seats .. all electronics work in order.. radio comes on but the reception is not good.. rear window defroster works . AC blows ice cold air .. heater works great .. all gauges light up nicely and work in order.. odometer and speedometer work in order.. non smoker owner and no pets ever... interior still smells like new.. horn works .interior light works.. overdrive works .. has one master key.. overall very nice and original ..
Mechanically in great shape.. its just breaking in at 89.000 miles.. has a new battery .. starts right up every time.. the 4 cylinder bulletproof red block engine runs very nice and sounds healthy .. no smokes no leaks no shakes.. always runs at normal temps and does not overheat.. timing belt has been replaced.. the automatic overdrive transmission shifts fine though all gears and has no issues.. the suspension feel solid and drives nice at all speeds .. has good power . brakes are in great shape with no pulling or shaking.. the engine bay is clean and roomy .. very easy to work on these cars.. all parts are widely available and affordable .. overall its a very reliable car that will take you anywhere you want.. the last of the good VOLVO model cars.. MADE IN SWEDEN ..
