I'm selling my 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I rebuilt this car from "almost" the ground up. Although this FJ40 drives well in the city, I built it to drive off-road. While there is much that is original on this car there are also many upgrade modifications. I'll start by saying that the odometer shows 52,275 miles and the car is completely rust free. The engine is a Chevy 350 TBI (throttle body injection) with approximately 2,000 miles on the rebuild. Here are is list of some of my upgrades: 4 speed Toyota manual transmission attached to a Ranger torque splitter overdrive (original was a 3 speed on the steering column); four wheel disc brakes; Saginaw power steering; a second fuel tank (22 gallons) under the rear of the car with dual gauges on the dash (holds 38-40 gallons total); 6 point roll cage; rear aftermarket bumper with a split swing out tire rack and basket; upgraded sport front seats; rear fold and tumble seat (original jumper seats are included); Tuffy center console box with stereo; Tuffy dash box; rear side windows tinted that slide open; full gauges above the driver's seat mounted on the roll cage; suspension lift to fit 35" tires (though I have 31" tires presently); oil radiator along with a custom fan shroud and custom center transmission and transfer case skid plate. Please enjoy all my photos. I hate to let this go but I just don't drive it much anymore so it needs a new home to take it where it was built to go-- the mountains and the desert.
