This truck is a gem, runs, drives and stops amazingly! All original equipment other than the tires and wheels, brakes, bushings and a few other wear items. Additions include: Overload springs, rear airbags, a new Drawtite receiver & hitch, new style 7 prong trailer plug attached to the receiver and a new 7 prong trailer plug in the bed for use with a camper.
The interior is complete and in good shape other than small tears on the arm rests, cracks on the seat and one crack on the dash pad (all pictured). This truck also includes dealer installed AIR CONDITIONING! The system works well but needs a recharge each spring (cans of R12 will come with purchase).
The exterior is complete and sports the original patina’d Turquoise! All lights work flawlessly including, headlights, running lights, tail lights, brake lights and blinkers. All badging, trim, grill and both bumpers are present and in good original condition. All glass is intact, no cracks and no fogging or yellowing. Mirrors are functional and in excellent condition.
Engine runs great and has received new hardened exhaust valve seats (old heads don’t like todays gasoline), a carburetor rebuild, new plugs, wires, points and fluids.
The underside is also rock solid with no rust anywhere. Floors, cab corners, and the bottoms of the doors are all rust free.
This truck was purchased new in my home town of Richland, Washington at Bell Bangert Ford. Our climate in South Eastern Washington is very dry (unlike the west side of the mountains) with limited rain fall and mild winters. We do not use salt on the roads in our area.
