One look at this 79 Dodge Power Wagon w150 is like looking back into 1979. It's got that cool two-tone green and white paint combo we remember, the upper and lower chrome moldings, V8 360 4 barrel, 727 torqueflite auto trans, 4 wheel drive. Strong drivetrain doesn't knock, smoke, or overheat. Odometer reads 71k and I'm told those are the original and accurate miles. Truck runs and drives, The engine is healthy, Starts right up as you can see in the video, but it has been sitting on and off for a couple of years and I didn't wanna get old gas in the new carb, so I bypassed the tank with a 5 gallon gas can and it's pumping fresh gas from there just fine. It had some light restoration done years ago like the paint being retouched and the seat reupholstered to keep it nice and stock looking. It's a good example of a CA blue and yellow license plate survivor since it's got the original factory motor and transmission as well as the suspension and body. What's not original is the CD player, valve covers, air cleaner, and the wheels. The truck has a super straight body and molding, speaking of the moldings you can really tell what kind of life a truck has had by the condition of the moldings and these are excellent. There's some minor surface rust under the driver side fender but thats all. Body is super solid. No rust holes. All original metal. Was never hot rodded or harshly off roaded and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. Original, unmodified, un-welded or lifted suspension. Transfer case engages without issue. The u-joints get a little squeaky, might need a lube job. The door hinges are still strong, like you can see in the video I linked below which includes a walk around. Some small things you can get done as a weekend project but are worth mentioning are the horn not working, windshield wipers have to be toggled back and forth to get them to engage, and the tachometer has been kinda wonky since the carb was installed. I highly recommend viewing the video. I do a full walkaround the truck, Youll hear the motor from top to bottom. and I talk about the truck in much more detail. Overall like i said the truck has been sitting on and off since the past few years, Its no trailer queen. Will need some small details to get it perfect like i mention in the video i suggest a tune up, maybe some spark plugs, and some fresh gas. also like to address the recent negative feedback I received. I'm currently disputing these false claims with ebay. Ive been with ebay for 15 years and have always had positive feedback because im always doing my best to be transparent and honest with all my vehicle sales. Have sold vehicles across the globe, have met amazing buyers and really take my sales seriously. I have all the proof and messages to prove that these recent feedbacks are false and untrue.
