As mint as this Corvette is, it does need a few small things. The car will need tires soon. The CD player does not work, could be something simple but I haven’t looked into it, didn’t bother me because I enjoy the exhaust note. The RPM side of the cluster some times dims slightly and come back when using it at night. I was going to change the bulbs to the LED ones (which I will do anyways if it doesn’t sell) other wise the car is in great shape, ready to drive anywhere and enjoy. I’m just testing waters with this auction, this will be the last time I post this for sale before I put it in storage and just hold on to it. I searched for so many years for this car and I am not pushing it to sell. There’s plenty of cheaper c4 corvettes out there if that’s what your after, but this early edition of the c4 is as clean, mint, and as solid as you will find. This one is fairly rare, one year only car with the digital dash interior with the zf-6 speed transmission, not to mention the tan on black interior combo. I just spent $3k on service, new oil, battery, alternator, intake manifold gasket, spark plugs etc. I have receipts for the work.
The car belonged to a veteran and it was garaged and very well cared for its entire life. I have info on all the previous owners. The car is 100% original and unrestored, the paint is thick and glossy, looks amazing, I’d say almost flawless. I take it to cars and coffee on the weekends and it always draws a crowd. The interior is also in great shape, unrestored and in excellent condition. The engine is the L-98 350 and it has a ton of torque, matched with the 6 speed, it’s a blast to drive. The engine bay is very nice but could use a wipe down. The corvette comes with both factory tops, glass and body color. This vette is unmodified and kept to factory spec, if your looking for a keeper, this is the one. Probably one of the cleanest examples out of California.
